Julie's Story
Julie grew up in the middle of a huge family but carved a niche for herself amongst the clan by pursuing her artistic dreams. As soon as she graduated with a BFA in illustration, she schlepped her portfolio around Manhattan and got her first picture book deal. Since then, she's illustrated over 20 picture books, earned an MFA in Graphic Design and Studio Arts, and added the roles of adjunct professor and freelance graphic designer to her resume. Amongst all this, Julie married, raised four children, and developed a love of cycling. Julie has a passion for storytelling through art and strives to bring her imagination to life through her work.
